Skiathos national airport “Alexandros Papadiamantis” is a small airport located in the north-eastern side of the island, 3 kilometres far from Skiathos town. It receives flights from Athens during the whole year which are quite convenient as they normally take less than an hour. There are also limited connecting flights from Thessaloniki and Chios running year round. More domestic flights are added during the summer, departing from the above mentioned airports and the airport of Kavala as well.
